As a student in San José State University’s Human Factors and Ergonomics Master’s program, I’ve conducted UX research with teams of fellow graduate students and paired up with a faculty advisor. I’ve done usability evaluations of the Clue and Caltrain apps, resulting in full-length, industry-quality reports. One of my research papers was also accepted to the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society’s 2018 Annual Meeting, and subsequently published in the proceedings. In my final semester, I’m working with the HFE MS program director Dr. Anil Kumar on a cumulative research project that examines the effect of sense of presence in non-virtual environments during human-robot collaboration tasks.
